Retail Asset Protection 2018 Call for Speakers

RILA's Retail Asset Protection Conference is seeking speakers for the 2018 conference. Speakers for RILA's education programs provide an invaluable educational and leadership training service and, in return, speakers receive an unparalleled opportunity to elevate their standing in the retail industry.

RILA is looking for speakers with expertise in subject matters that fall within five tracks:

  • Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Crimes Against Business
  • Leadership and Development
  • Operational Loss
  • Workplace Safety

Submission Deadline: Friday, September 22, 2017

The proposal will be considered, along with all other applications, by the Asset Protection Conference Steering Committee (representatives of RILA retail and product manufacturer member companies who plan the content and programming for the conference). Speaker Requirements

To be considered as a speaker, your submission must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Provide compelling, timely, relevant and unbiased educational content to a business audience made up of top executives, including EVPs, SVPs, VPs and their direct reports, from the largest and most visible retailers.
  • Have the ability to effectively engage an audience of 50 - 150 people for up to 45 minutes.
  • Provide relevant takeaways for the audience attending.
  • Refrain from selling products and/or services during the session. Any proposal or presentation that appears as if it constitutes a sales pitch in any way will not be considered.
  • Service providers that submit speaker proposals must participate in the event by exhibiting, sponsoring and purchasing a service provider registration. In addition, each session must include at least one speaker from a retailer or consumer goods company.
